4-foot Muscle Wall is manufactured with low-density polyethylene plastic because it enables the product to be rigid as well as malleable, making it more durable and able to withstand impacts from equipment and/or debris.
The material also enables us to extend a 10-year manufacturer's UV rating, meaning that the product can be stored outdoors in almost any environment.
Modular system.
4-foot Muscle Wall features a modular design that provides the ability for an extremely customized solution. Each wall features a male and female connector which is designed to slide into place on the corresponding connector of another wall. The connection is then secured by installing the Muscle Wall safety straps.
Specially designed liner clip.
We have designed a 4-foot liner clip that now extends all the way down to the toe of the wall, essentially eliminating the risk of liner tenting. The clip has been engineered to safely slide into place over your liner and securely snap into place when installed correctly.
Multi-use corner unit.
The Muscle Wall corner unit enables your system to make 90-degree and greater turns allowing Muscle Wall to better cope with your terrain. The corner unit features the same male and female connection system which allows it to quickly be dropped into place and secured. It is also reversible so it can be used to either keep the material in, in a containment scenario, or out, in a flooding situation.
Lightweight, heavy duty.
4-foot Muscle Wall weighs only 121lbs empty. This allows for a quick and easy deployment process by almost anyone. However, once the walls have been placed, filling them with water is possible due to filling holes placed on the top of each wall. A simple trash pump can have a wall completely filled in a matter of seconds bumping the weight of the wall up to 1400lbs.
Nestles to ship and store.
The unique "L" shaped design of Muscle Wall enables each wall to nestle together with another in order to maximize shipping and storage space.
Each wall has an extrusion on the top of the wall that snaps into place on the toe of the connecting wall. This system allows the walls to be securely stacked together.
Adaptable to terrain.
At every joint the coupler joint employed by Muscle Wall allows a 22-degree range of motion. This enables Muscle Wall to be flexible and to adapt to its terrain as well by making sweeping turns along the natural path of a river or stream.
