Muscle Wall is PVSC's Flood Control Product of Choice to Protect their Facility
The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission issued a report on its efforts to relieve the streams and rivers from pollution in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. It also included a prevention plan for the future. Superstorm Sandy “completely devastated” the commission’s 140-acre facility, the report says. On page 3 Executive Director Michael DeFrancisci writes that they have “implemented a new temporary flood control barricade system (Muscle Wall) to ensure we are prepared for extreme weather events.” On page 7 and 13 the report features pictures of deployed Muscle Walls.
